ACP News Publications

ACP members stay well informed through access to a range of member-exclusive publications that deliver in-depth analysis of research, public policy, and other developments affecting internal medicine. Publications are accessible at any time using ACP login credentials.
  
This year, ACP implemented important changes to reduce our carbon footprint, curb expenses, and streamline content delivery. In January 2026, ACP’s member newspaper, I.M. Matters, and I.M. Matters Weekly from ACP, its companion e-newsletter, transitioned to a single monthly online-only publication, with new articles released weekly. ACP Hospitalist, a weekly online magazine, covers the latest news in hospital medicine, including feature articles, Q&As, and summaries of recent research. ACP also publishes two monthly clinical e-newsletters, ACP Diabetes Monthly and ACP Gastroenterology Monthly, which summarize recent research about diabetes and gastroenterology/hepatology.

ACP’s Center for Medical Ethics and Professionalism develops policies and resources on timely issues for ACP members and the public. New ethics papers released this year include:

Users can set up personalized alerts on topics and specialties of interest from 120 top-tier medical journals, review summaries and follow links to original abstracts, share alerts with colleagues, and browse table of contents from these premier medical journals. Users can access ACP JournalWise anytime from their desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
